Our Use of AI Tools

Vantage Magazine uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools as part of its editorial and production workflow.

These tools may be used to assist with tasks such as research, transcription, translation, proofreading, editing, organising information and refining drafts. They can also help our journalists and editors work more efficiently with large amounts of information.

AI does not replace our journalists or editors. Stories published by Vantage Magazine remain subject to human editorial judgement, review and verification. Our editorial team is responsible for the reporting, accuracy, context, tone and final version of every story we publish.

The use of an AI tool during the production of a story does not necessarily mean that the story itself is AI-generated. We distinguish between AI-assisted editorial work and content produced substantially by AI.

We believe transparency matters. As AI technology continues to develop, we will keep our approach under review and update this policy where necessary.
